- The 1990 Mad Dog Team
won gold at ECHO by defeating a very good Dream
Sport Dragon team from North Carolina 5-2 in the
championship game. On their way to the championship
game earlier that same day, the 1990 team defeated
the SVHA Eagles by a score of 7-0 in their first
game, defeated the Potomac Mavericks team 8-0, but
lost to the Dream Sport Dragon team 5-3 in their
3rd game of the day. Outstanding team play and goaltending
enabled the 1990s to turn their earlier loss to
the Dragons into a championship victory in the early
morning hours in Fredericksburg.
